*Deer are members of the Family Cervidae, making them Cervines.
*Deer are Nomadic. If they kept their herd at the same place all the time that would be too easily hunted.
*Deer are ruminants, meaning they have a four chambered stomach. They will occasionally chew cud if they had to run from something while eating.
*Deer are not monogamous. A Stag will try to win over many Does. It is not cheating. It's just how Deer work.
*Many Deer do express homosexual behavior, or more commonly bisexual behavior. The "sister wives" of a Stag will sometimes have their own relationship with eachother and Rogue Stags will often do the same. Co-parenting Does are even more likely to have Fawns that reach adulthood than a Doe with a Stag that hardly cares for the Fawn other than the fact that he helped make said Fawn.
*Reindeer (or Caribou) are the only females to grow antlers, though their antlers are often considerably smaller than a Stag's.
